What a soft romantic composition by Dada - a perfect soft romantic style
typical of him for Dev sahab's young, modern, carefree, romantic image !!
The whole composition revolving mainly around the magnificent use of mouth
organ aided by some minor fillers with crackers & drums - this is a real
melody craftsmanship. The serene use of mouth organ to conclude this
composition is magical & it reminds me of the nearly similar mouth organ
pieces played intermittently by 'Jai' (Amitabh) in film ''Sholey''.
Even the variations & mix ups of the 2 vocals here is mesmerizing & HATKE (
थोड़ा अलग ). Geeta Dutt in a soft poetic mood must have been a gr8 idea in
Dada's mind ... what an innovation to try & succeed !!
Love this duet in toto with all the 4 deptts excelling - intoxicating
lyrics, masterful hatke composition, innovative harmonious rendition, &
equally romantic picturisation with beautiful use of light & shades plus
expressions on the faces of the 2 most polished actors of the golden era.

One of the Bhule Bisre film of Dev Anand & Nutan. Good entertainer with excellent music by S.D. Burman, which we hardly hear these days. Rafi-Geeta duet "Chupke Se Mile & Heman Kumar's Yaad aagayi Woh Nashili... are my all time favorites.. Specially Rafi, Geeta duet is one of the best creation of Burmanda with son Pancham playing Harmonica in the song. Class act by Dev & Nutan.

Even though all the past Music directors were real super gems... S D Burman
was a kohinoor heera. The way he managed the 2nd stanza... unbelievable.
