Sheila Ramani, a forgotten name today, but most of us still remember her in
Navketan’s Taxi Driver (1954) where she was cast as Anglo-Indian club
Dancer – Sylvie.Sheila Ramani was introduced by Chetan Anand to Hindi
films, which explains her association with Navketan. She was born in Sindh,
and one of the few Sindhi actresses besides Sadhana who made it big in
BollywoodShe was crowned Miss Shimla in the early 50s and was mostly seen
as upper class mod girl in the 50s.

goddess jaisi sundarta thhee aur abhinay bhi bahut achha karti thheen.Kisi
ne ek baar kaha ki in ka chehra Angelina Jollie se milta julta hai. Maine

The most beautiful song of Lata ji which i love a lot.
What a song what a composition what presentation. here is Devanad having
lost his taxi girlfriend. He comes to an closed bar and complains about
every thing being closed on his face. and there comes shilea ramani and
this beautiful song. dil jale to jale. only Chetan anand could have made
this happen.
