Lyrics of Ghunghte Me Chanda Hai - घूँघटे में चंदा है
ghunghte me chanda hai, phir bhi hai phela charo aur ujala
ghunghte me chanda hai, phir bhi hai phela charo aur ujala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala

ghunghte me chanda hai, phir bhi hai phela charon aur ujala
ghunghte me chanda hai, phir bhi hai phela charon aur ujala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala

aaj sundarta dulhan bani hai, koyi kismat ka kitana dhani hai
aaj sundarta dulhan bani hai, koyi kismat ka kitana dhani hai
muh diklayi ki khatir, dil kya jan bhi hai hazir
muh diklayi ki khatir, dil kya jan bhi hai hazir

badalo ko mor dekhe, chand ko chakor dekhe
tujhko nasibo wala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala
ghunghte me chanda hai, phir bhi hai phela charo aur ujala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala

pas tu dur tak hain nazare, mil rahe hain dilon ko sahare
pas tu dur tak hain nazare, mil rahe hain dilon ko sahare
leke bahare tu aayi, dur huyi hai tanhayi
leke bahare tu aayi, dur huyi hai tanhayi
ghar ko sanwar de ga, dil ko karar de ga
rup yeh teraa nirala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala
ghunghte me chanda hai, phir bhi hai phela charon aur ujala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala
hosh na kho de kahi, josh me dekhne wala

This movie became one of my instant favorites after watching Madhuri and
Khan sing so lovingly to each other in Dekha Tujhe To. Hindi films have
such an enjoyably dream-like escapist quality to them. With a film
like Koyla one gets the entire caboodle: action, romance, thrills,
suspense, great music and beautiful sceneries. I also enjoy seeing the
rich display of Indian culture; it's an entirely different world and one
that feels terrific escaping into. It's only a pity that Bollywood is now
trailing behind Hollywood and becoming more westernized in its film
presentations.

This song and other songs of Udit Narayan are just sung fantastically. When
I was a young kid, I was actually fooled to think that SRK was the one
singing all the songs in his films. Its very sad that Amrish Puri passed
away, he was the most awesome MASTER SUPER SCARY TALENTED actor of
Bollywood. As a child I was actually scared of all his evil characters To
me its SRK, Amrish Puri, Kajol, Hema Malini and Raj Kapoor that made
Bollywood more appealing to Non- Hindi speaking countries Old Memories

"The moon faced beauty is under a veil, still there's brightness all
around. The beholder might lose self-control. Beauty has become the bride
today. This person (the groom) is so fortunate. For a glimpse of the
beautiful face, not just the heart(is he willing to give up),but one is
prepared to give up his life too (as well). The one who sees your face is
indeed a fortunate person." That's pretty much it. He's just repeating
those line's. It's such a good song. Shah Rukh is the best.

I have...actually, i have tried...it wasn't very good so I didn't finish
it... shahrukh royally hams in that. I realize lot of ppl like it and
that's their opinion. Lot of ppl still like him thats why he is going
strong. His passion for the craft used to show in his earlier movies...dil
se, kabhi haan kabhi naa, even the serial fauji...i used to watch that just
for him.. but nowadays his movies are just crap. i realize lot of ppl still
like them but I am not a blind fan.

I like his performances pre-om shanti om... especiallly before Dil se... he
used to give his heart and soul to his performanves...now it seems like he
has stopped trying and has become complacent. His movies rely more on
gimmicks, marketing stunts and publicity than any substance nowadays.
