Hindi was not a language before independence. Its sanskritized version of
Urdu.. Tell me even one literature book which is before 1900. I am not
talking about translation books but pure literature books purely in Hindi.
There is literature in kharhi boli and purbia but there was no Hindi before
this. It was put forward only after partition to replace urdu. even
gandhiji wanted to continue urdu but fascist won in this.
