Beautiful song. I think Yesudas sang this very well. I have always enjoyed
Amol Palekar's movies especially Gol Maal etc. He looked like a common
Indian man and it was easy to associate with him.

Sorry ...but this is a Hindi Song ...not a Urdu. I just had to point out
the language difference. Infact this is one of those beautiful lyrics in
pure hindi and not in Urdu.
shrichitra on January 22, 2009
Well..well..it seems to be a discussion of no use when some people are
unaware of the different languages or the nuances, which in their own way
embellishes both poetry and songs.
ashwa27 on January 27, 2009
Guys don't know if urudu is mother of music or not.but all languages
emerged from Sanskrit and bollywood-Hindi movies still rules so called
Urudu world..anyway enjoy this KJ Yesudas's melodious song
chocobrownie7 on January 29, 2009
How petty can people get discussing languages...music is a language in
itself...enjoy the melody whatever the lyrics and whatever the language

YESUDAS... YESUDAS... YESUDAS... what a voice. He is the BEST in INDIA. No
wonder why he got 7 national awards and around 50 awards from differnt
states. Sad, that he hasnt sung much in Hindi.
raj6408 on February 15, 2009
music has no language. Lataji has sung as sweetly in other language as in
Urdu. Get your facts right.
Alwin Kalathil on February 20, 2009
The melody is a combination of music, poetry, singer and the artists in
totality.KJ YEsudas and Lataji has made it perfect.

to jackfrazer81, Urdu evolved in India during the Mughal era, it evolved
from Hindi and Arabic, so Urdu = Hindi + Arabic. It did not evolve in
Persia, Turkey, Iran or whatever as you're claiming.

Such a nice song ruined by politics. Does everything have to be so
political. If you get my point...please don't comment.

Style - Arabic Prpnoun + Grammer - Sanskrit
BeliveInTruth on May 04, 2009
Hindi- Nouns+ Pronoun+ Writing style+ Grammer. All are from Sanskrit. Yes
some words are from persian and other lanaguage. Thats with all langage.
Means Hindi is not that mixed as Urdu. Please verify yourself.

yes u can be proud to have Urdu literture . If u people have so much
respect for Urdu literture then why cann't u people accept the proof of
baber have break the Ram Temple and build masjit in Ayodaya. Tell me why? U
can urself check Ayodhya - Sri RAMA birth place - part 1 to part 4 Don't
belive kafir but Allaha had given mind use it.
BeliveInTruth on May 04, 2009
Last question: Urdu origin- 1) persian 2) sanskrit. if consider 1) then
what ever u have given all the words are mostly from sanskrit. If consider
2) then it similar to Hindi only difference will be they have taken writing
style from persian and more words from Arabic(persian) side than Hindi.
bvindh on May 04, 2009
"Bada - from "varaha" meaning large."-the root sanskrit word is
"brihad"...varaha means pig!!
