When Gulzar took the lyrics of this song to R.D Burman, R.D said to Gulzar,
"tomorrow you will bring me the front page of Times of India and ask me to
compose a song based on a article?" Asha Bhosale hummed "Mera kuch samaan"
in a tune. R.D picked up that tune and composed the entire song. If you
listen carefully, there is no continuity in the lyrics. It takes a lot of
skill to compose something this fantastic. Pancham, you were great...

U poor thing,some of the really good movies are so hard to find online. but
few years ago ijaazat was out in dvd with masoom. I say try the local
