Every person lives on some belief, you and me... Gandhiji and Bhagath had
there own beliefs they did their best to get freedom to India.. they did
not think about the their own life but cared for other lives.. India was
bigger than anything else. gandhi and bhagat is just a name of the sons
of India who did their part to free india and I respect anyone who did a

Instead of fighting over who's picture should be there on currency, WORK
and make yourself proud!!! Do something like Bhagat Singh, bring in a
revolution... Stop fighting over petty issues people!! Everyone had their
own contributions in our freedom fight! If you really want to show the
faces of all the real freedom fighters, a currency note is too small a
paper!!

the reason why bhagat singh's photo is not on currency, bcoz if it is done
then the people from all parts of india would want same for other freedom
fighters which are many in number, so this way there will be argue b/w ppl
bcoz in india we have only 7 type of notes form rs 5 note to rs1000 note.
this is the real problem. ihope now u can understand. & also gandhi photo
on notes was also not a good step, the earlier note were better with no
photo & only sign of our national emblem(four lions)...

@punjabistan01 Simple my dear fellow: get some historic perspective. If you
knew even a little bit about Bhagat Singh's philosophy, you'd have known
that his vision for our country was similar to M.K. Gandhi's. BTW Bhagat
Singh was not much of a believer in annhilation/ violence. The tragedy is,
all that most Indians know about the man is from movies whose credibility
is comparable to that of Suresh Kalmadi.

starving and basic infrastructure remains a challenge to surmount, we have
people concerned over whose image appears on currency notes. Never mind
that we openly bribe officials, spit on our roads, litter them and turn a
blind eye to child labour. Some tribute to the legends whose name we evoke
as if it were public property.

One thing is that, people think that Bhagat Singh believed in voilence, which is totally wrong. He believed in non-voilence, if he believed in voilence he would have killed many british, not only one who deserved death. If he believed in voilence he would have mad esuch a bomb which would have killed many people in the assembly.

I never knew Baghat Singh danced and sing... The songs and dance always
kills great Indian movies in my opinion, they should really stick to the
reality and stop extra focus on side stuff... Having a soundtrack is great
but the dance and the lame "play" kills the movie.
