Thanks for this song man. Brings back memories.

Yesudas was one of those rare singers, who were classically accomplished
and possessed a flowing voice.

This is one of my very favorite songs. What a beautiful movie. I have seen this movie so many times and still enjoy it's simplicity. They don't make these kind of movies anymore. Thank you for uploading this song.

very beautiful song thanks, this song make me day
sunnyutopian on June 26, 2008
Amazing, awesome, exquisite, excellent, no adjective can completely describe the wonderful beauty of simplicity in such pieces. The serenity of Yesudas's voice is simply divine and the film was simply so sweet.
Such songs are rarely composed and such films rarely made.
brightstar1978 on July 15, 2008
It is NOT Urdu but pure simple hindi
yajbh on July 18, 2008
Actually, Muhammad the prophet was a paedophile, your books say that he copulated with a seven year old child wife called Ayesha. Was Muhammad into animals as well?
brightstar1978 on July 18, 2008
Sorry I don't know what your national drink - urine - tastes like. Obviously, I don't know the difference between sweet water and "pakurinecola" Paki. You are obviously an illiterate. Urdu is a spawn of Hindi, Arabic and Farsi. Also, when you were replying to Yajbh, you offensive pile of incestuous garbage you marry your cousins, don't you?), you were thinking of what your mother does with monkeys just like your one night stand with a donkey-come on now you admitted it.
tottate on July 20, 2008
from the comments posted i think people are getting enjoyment more from abusing each other than listening to the song

did Dubai have cinemas back in 1977??? how big was Dubai then?
knpradeep77 on December 12, 2008
If you consider his prowess in pure music, i can bet he is better than
Rafi, kishor kumar (please don't feel offended, i am in NOWAY MEANING THAT
rafi or kishor kumar anything less)or anybody in this world for that
matter. he is second only to god. he has sung more songs than any of these
great singers. But, unfortunately, he has not sung many hindi songs.
contd...
muawan on December 17, 2008
Yasudas is a good singer BUT there was only one Muhammad Rafi, Rafi was
exceptional, even Manna Dey has said again and again that Rafi was the best
singer indian film industry had. In every respect Rafi was better than any
other singer
knpradeep77 on December 17, 2008
I agree Rafi sahib is the greatest Singer in Hindi film industry. Almost
all hindi songs are very light and simple. But among malayalam movie songs,
you can come across songs which are very difficult for commeners to sing.
You should listen to these songs, and try to sing those songs to understand
how good Yesudas is. In muy opinion, Yesudas has sung very difficult songs
but very effortlessly. that was my point
knpradeep77 on December 17, 2008
I can recommend some songs sung by Yesudas which you should listen 1.
'Ramakatha ganalayam' from movie Bharatam 2. 'Harimuraleeravam' from movie
'Aram Thampuran' 3. 'Gange' from movei 'Vadakkum nathan' 4. songs from
'Sopanam', "Swati tirunal' etc. I listen to both Hindi and Malayalam songs.
My comparison was based on that. I request you to kindly listen to those
songs. may be available in Youtube, if not tell me I can send it to you
muawan on December 17, 2008
thanks for replying, i don't understand malyalam, as we both agreed that
yasudas is good singer simple and classical. you said that hindi songs are
simple, listen to these rafi songs madhuban mein radhika nache re BAIJU
BAWRA - O DUNIYA KE RAKHAWALE the second song is at very high notes, most
singer cant even reach. the first song set statndard for classical music in
indian films
knpradeep77 on December 18, 2008
You need not understand the words or the meaning. But you can simply listen
to these songs and you will understand that all of the aforementioned songs
are much difficult than O DUNIYA KE RAKHWALE. It is not only the high pitch
which decides whether a song is light or not, but the variation of the
pitch and so many other factors. I still request you to listen to those
malayalam songs to understand what I mean. Please forget the lyrics, but
concentrate on the music
rhiannonsarageorge on December 19, 2008
ys yesudas is great,,but KISHORDA.SUPER..
knpradeep77 on December 20, 2008
Contd--- And what more, these are only a few samples. You can find scores
of such or even more difficult songs in Malayalam movies. Please note that
some videos contain some dialogues before the actual song, So please wait
for the song to start Contd--
knpradeep77 on December 20, 2008
I feel language is not a barrier for music. Yes, you may not understand the
meaning of the words, but still you can enjoy the music. I request you to
kindly listen to the following songs to understand what I mean by
'difficult songs'. I hope You also will understand that these songs are
much more complicated, involves very high pitched& very low pitched notes,
much more classical notes, very complicated notes compared to Oduniya ke
rakhwale, or Madhuban me radhika. contd---

in 2004 there was a 10 year old boy that always loved to play with toy guns. He killed himself one day for mistaking a real one. Now that u read this, he will shoot you and kill you... ..
UNLESS you copy/paste this to 5 videos, then he won't come and kill you. This ghost of this boy can wield guns and will kill you and its a ghost that killed his family already.

Guys , lets not compare the legends. Rafi was an excellent singer so is Yesudas. If you wanna compare, u should always know both the singers and their songs in deep. How many of you guys had listen to the songs which Yesudas sung over years in Malayalam? How many of you understand the language. Am being a keralite, Studied Hindi up to the degree level, could better judge between Rafi and Yesudas because i know 90% of what Rafi sung and 100% what yesudas.
rgpknr on December 26, 2008
Language is not an essential criteria while enjoying music but it does play a vital role. The feelings while you sing the songs are really important. Probably thats what Yesudas lack while he sung the Hindi songs. But still those songs became history. He sung only a few songs in Hindi but most of them were super hits. Why ? Not because of his language capabilities but because of his divinely Voice. Its the same voice which conquered our hearts for years in Malayalam.

I like to hear the songs of yesudas when am at home,A.R.Rahimanwhen I feel to hear something different,MohdRafi when am travelling in my car and late nights,Enrique when I want to dance,Yanni when I need to be relaxed,Budha Bar&Enigma when I get drunk, Gipsy Kings, etc when I need variety.Who is better?everybody. Its the world of music and just enjoy it.Those who are the singers, have the gift from god.And for us,We just need to embrace them so that they can get us more to listen.pls dont compare
rpandalay on January 17, 2009
Yes, But I did read in an interview of Ravindra Jain that when he approached Rafi Saab for a song from Tansen. Rafi declined saying "Rafi cannot sing this in this birth" . It was too difficult a song for him to attempt. And Yesudas was the one to sing the song. Try Shadj ne Paya. What a wonderful rendition.
Rafi was a great, great singer but I wud say Yesudas was more complete and rounded. This is a personal opinion ofc.
